چکیده
Knee osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease characterized by pain and limited motion of the joints resulting in muscle weakness. Late consequences can lead to shortening intra extra joint components. This study aimed analyze effect straight leg raise static bicycles on increase quadriceps strength patients with knee osteoarthritis. was an experimental two-group pretest-posttest design. The research conducted at Salewangan Maros Hospital. population aged 40-60 years experienced sample met inclusion criteria obtained simple random sampling technique so that size 28 subjects, then randomized into two treatment groups, each 14 subjects. data muscles using manual testing which done twice, namely before after exercise bicycle. Because distribution were not normal, nonparametric analysis used. results Wilcoxon test showed there significant giving (p = 0.002) 0.005) training increasing strength. Mann-Whitney no differences between groups 0.481). raises increased difference exercises.
